What you get back

https://quiet-harbor-42.pagelive.site

A permanent URL you can send anywhere — update the page anytime and the link never changes.

How it works

From HTML file to live link in three steps

1

Upload HTML or paste your code

Drop an .html file on the publish box or paste the markup straight from your editor or your Claude chat. No Git, no build step, no config file.

2

Preview before publishing

See the page rendered exactly as visitors will, so you catch a broken layout or a missing close-tag before anyone else does. Need just a quick render? Use the free HTML viewer.

3

Publish to a permanent link

One click and your page is live on a real, shareable URL — yourpage.pagelive.site/… — not just a preview. Update the page anytime; the link never changes.

Analytics

See who opened it

A free host gives you a URL and goes quiet. A Pagelive link reports back — so when you send a proposal, a demo, or a one-pager, you know whether it was seen.

The difference

Not a public web page

The easy free way to publish HTML usually makes your page a public web page — most free hosts let Google index it by default. That’s fine for a throwaway demo. It’s not fine for a client proposal, a pricing page, or anything confidential.

Pagelive is built the other way around: every page is noindex by default — we tell Google not to list it — and it’s served separately from your account and billing, so a published page can’t reach your private data.

A typical free host

  • Public web page by default
  • Google can index it and anyone can find it in search
  • No password gate, no view analytics

A Pagelive link

  • Noindex by default — won’t show up on Google
  • Served from an isolated content plane
  • Optional password · opens and viewer analytics

When it goes to a client

Password-protect it and use your own domain

Free HTML hosting FAQ

Is it really free? +

Yes. You can publish straight from the homepage dropzone with no signup — the page stays live for 7 days unless you claim it with a free account. A free account keeps up to 10 pages live with opens, unique-viewer, and referrer analytics. Custom domains and custom slugs are on Pro ($15/mo).

Will Google index my page? +

No — Pagelive pages are noindex by default. We tell search engines not to list them, and they serve from an isolated content plane, walled off from your dashboard and billing. You can opt a page into indexing if you ever want that.

Can I use my own domain? +

Yes, on Pro. Connect a domain you own (proposals.yourstudio.com) and publish pages to it by slug — 5 domains on Pro, 25 per workspace on Team.

How is this different from a typical drag-and-drop host? +

A typical free host publishes your page as a public web page that search engines can index by default — fine for a throwaway demo, not for client work. Pagelive publishes the same HTML as a private, tracked link: noindex by default, password-protectable, with open and viewer analytics built in.

Can I update the page after publishing? +

Yes. Replace the HTML anytime and the link stays exactly the same — no re-sending a new URL. Version history keeps your previous edits so you can restore.
