Claude connectors — what they are, and the ones worth adding
Connectors let Claude work with your real apps — files, email, projects, designs, payments — without leaving the chat. Here’s how they work, how to add one, and a curated list organized by the job you’re trying to get done.

The short answer
What are Claude connectors?
Claude connectors are apps and services Claude can use directly inside a chat — searching your files, reading your calendar, updating your project tracker, or publishing a page you built. You add them in claude.ai under Settings → Connectors, authorize each one with OAuth, and Claude’s answers start drawing on your real tools.
Under the hood, a connector is a remote MCP server that claude.ai hosts the connection to. Working in Claude Code instead? The same ecosystem is available there — see Claude MCP servers.
2-minute setup
How to add a connector (3 steps)
Every connector — directory or custom — is added the same way, and you authorize each one before it can touch anything.
Open Settings → Connectors
In claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors. This is where every connector — from the directory or custom — is added and managed.
Enable one, or paste a URL
Pick a connector from the directory, or choose “Add custom connector” and paste the server URL. Custom connectors require a paid Claude plan.
Authorize with OAuth
Sign in to the service when prompted. The connector’s tools then appear in new chats, and you can toggle them per conversation.

Turn what Claude builds into a link you can send
Full disclosure: this category is ours — Pagelive is the connector we make. Here’s what it does, stated plainly.
Pagelive
Publishes the HTML Claude builds — proposals, decks, demos — as a live, tracked link, and updates it later at the same URL. Pages are noindex by default, password-protectable (encrypted — we can’t see the password), and can live on your own custom domain.
One-click connect: in claude.ai, Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste app.pagelive.io/api/mcp. Details on the connector page and publish from Claude.
https://app.pagelive.io/api/mcpFree for your first 10 pages; Pro is $15/mo ($150/yr) for custom domains and more — see pricing.
Claude connectors — FAQ
What are Claude connectors? +
Claude connectors are apps and services Claude can use directly inside a chat — searching your files, reading your calendar, updating your project tracker, or publishing a page you built. You add them in claude.ai under Settings → Connectors and authorize each one with a one-time OAuth sign-in.
Are Claude connectors free? +
Adding a connector costs nothing by itself, though custom connectors require a paid Claude plan. The service behind a connector keeps its own pricing — for example, Pagelive publishes 10 pages on its free tier, with Pro at $15/mo.
How do I add a connector to Claude? +
Open Settings → Connectors in claude.ai, then enable a connector from the directory or choose “Add custom connector” and paste its URL — Pagelive’s is app.pagelive.io/api/mcp. Authorize with a one-time OAuth sign-in and the tools appear in new chats.
Are Claude connectors safe? +
Connectors authenticate with OAuth, so each one gets scoped access to that service only, and you can disconnect it any time in Settings → Connectors. Only add connectors from developers you trust — a connector can read whatever data you authorize — and review what each tool does before approving actions.

Add one connector today: publish what Claude builds as a secure link.
Connect once in Settings → Connectors, then just ask Claude to publish. Free to start · noindex by default.
