No. The preview runs entirely in your browser inside a sandboxed iframe. Nothing you paste or upload is sent to or stored on a server.
You don’t need to save the file and double-click it, and you don’t need a local server or an editor. Drag and drop the .html file (or paste the code) into the viewer above and it renders right here in a sandboxed frame, so you see the page without leaving this tab.

Yes. When the page looks right, publish it as a link: a clean, branded URL you can send to a client instead of an attachment.
Not when you publish it with Pagelive. Published pages are noindex by default: the robots meta and X-Robots-Tag headers tell search engines not to list it, unlike the easy free way most hosts work.
