Feature · Version history
Update the page. The link never changes.
A Pagelive link is permanent — what it shows isn’t. Edit a published page as often as you like, keep every previous version, and restore any of them. Your client’s link just keeps working.
What it does
Iterate after you hit send
Files freeze your work at the moment you attach them. A Pagelive page stays live — so the version your client opens is always the one you meant.
Update anytime, the link never changes
Fix the typo, swap the pricing table, add the slide they asked for — the page updates in place. The link in your client’s inbox keeps working, and it always shows the latest version.
No “v2-final-FINAL” resends
Because the link is stable, there’s nothing to resend. You never have to write the “please ignore the earlier attachment” email again — the client just reopens the same link.
Previous versions are kept
Every update is saved as a version. You can look back at what the client saw last Tuesday before the scope changed — useful when “but the proposal said…” comes up.
Restore anytime
Pushed an edit too far? Roll the page back to any previous version in one step. The restore is just another update — same link, no interruption for anyone reading.
How it works
Publish, update, restore
Publish your page
Say “publish this” in Claude, drop the HTML, or publish from the dashboard. The link you get is the one your client keeps — for good.
Update in place
Edit from the dashboard or ask Claude to change the published page. The new version goes live on the same link; the old one is saved.
Restore if you need to
Open the page’s version history, pick an earlier version, and restore it. The link never blinks.
Frequently asked
Does the link change when I update the page? +
No — never. The link is permanent; updates replace what it shows. That’s the whole point: you iterate freely after sending, and the client always sees the latest version at the same address.
Do I need to resend anything after an update? +
No. The link your client already has serves the new version the next time they open it. Your link tracking continues across updates, so you’ll see when they come back.
Can my client see the old versions? +
No. Viewers only ever see the current version of the page. Version history is yours — visible in your dashboard, not on the published link.
Can I undo an update? +
Yes. Previous versions are kept, and you can restore any of them at any time. A restore goes live on the same link immediately, like any other update.
Send one link. Keep improving it.
Private by default, tracked across every version, and never a “v2” resend again.
